SDI - Rescue Diver Certification Course
The Rescue Diver certification course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills for and individual to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, and administer necessary first aid. Students are taught skills such as how to perform self rescues, recognise and calm potential panic divers, and administer proper first aid to bends victims.
What do I need to start?
- Be an SDI Advanced Diver or equivalent with a minimum of 40 logged dives.
- Hold a current CPR & First Aid certification. (Can be included within the programme.)
Graduates would be qualified to enroll in the SDI Master Diver and/or Divemaster programmes.
