The Cressi Nano Blue Nery Freediving for advanced freediving and spearfishing, is designed to offer an extremely hydrodynamic and compact shape to help divers cut through the water and aid movements in small spaces.

85 cm3 ultra low volume mask for advanced freediving and spearfishing

The small outer dimensions of the Cressi Nano Blue Nery Freediving Mask mean minimal drag through the water and low internal volume for easy clearing and equalisation. The skirt is thin and soft, plus has stiffening ribs at key points to form a leak-free seal.

The Cressi Nano Blue Nery Freediving Mask is equipped with Cressi's swivelling micrometric easy adjust buckles and has a wide anatomical silicone rubber split style designed mask strap for even dispersion of pressure for increased fit and comfort. The mask has an easy-to-reach, one-hand nose pocket for ear equalisation which can be utilised even when wearing thick gloves.

The double feathered edge black silicone skirt works in concert with the split strap for an excellent seal on the face. Angled tempered glass lenses further increase the field of vision in the downward direction.

Cressi Nano Blue Nery Freediving Mask Features:

  • Twin lens integrated dual frame technology.
  • Reverse teardrop shape with raked angle.
  • The internal volume is minimal and does not require intentional equalising.
  • The swiveling buckles feature micrometric regulation.
  • Angled tempered glass lenses.
  • Anatomical strap.
  • Protective mask box included

Tech Tip

Why Black or Opaque Skirt Diving and Snorkelling Masks Are Better

Clear silicone skirts on diving and snorkelling masks are popular because they minimise the claustrophobic feeling some people get when they wear a mask. Nevertheless, clear skirts actually interfere with vision. Extraneous light entering through the clear skirt makes it more difficult for the eye to focus and causes reflections that obscure vision. Demonstrate this by looking out a window from a lighted room at twilight. You will see better by cupping your hands around your eyes as you press your face to the window. For these reasons, knowledgeable scuba divers, spearos, freedivers, underwater photographers, and snorkellers seeking the best possible vision prefer masks with black or opaque silicone skirts.
