The Analox ATA Pro is a compact Trimix Analyser offering oxygen, helium and balance gas readings in one compact box. It's the ideal all-in-one gas detection package for technical scuba divers, and one of the best trimix analysers on the market.

The Analox ATA Pro is the Mercedes of the Trimix Analyser market. It will measure Oxygen and Helium content to 1 decimal place. It's very easy to use, provides extremely accurate data for either Nitrox or Helium mixes, and is compact enough to travel with you.

Knowing your correct gas mix is invaluable when planning your dive. When exceeding the normal limits, having the incorrect gas mix can prove to be fatal. The Analox ATA Pro lets you easily and accurately know what your gas mix is.

The Analox ATA Pro is a portable trimix analyser that takes Nitrox and Trimix readings directly from your tank. Compact and lightweight the ATA Pro can be easily carried wherever and whenever you dive.

With the ability to zero and span the helium sensor as well as oxygen compensation allowing for a more accurate helium reading, the ATA Pro is designed to offer the highest levels of accuracy — something which is of the utmost importance when pushing the boundaries of standard scuba diving.

The Oxygen and Helium analyser cells are long-lasting. We would not recommend buying spares at the same time as electrochemical sensors are a dated consumable item. Analox offers a sensor warranty of 3 years for the O2, and 1 year for the Helium. However, the supplied oxygen sensor will generally have a life of 4 to 5 years, whilst the Helium is expected to last for 10 years.

Analox has a policy of continuous improvement and thus reserve the right to upgrade or change specifications without prior notice.

When using the Analox ATA pro you should first calibrate the unit as per the instructions, with the O2 reading being at 20.9% (or the more precise figure from the table provided with the hygrothermometer), then zero the helium figure. If using a twinset, ensure that the manifold is open, then establish a gentle flow (GUE recommends using the right post for multiple reasons) before offering the flow restrictor up to the tank valve. Let the readout settle and then mark this directly on the tank, on a piece of regular or gas analysis tape, making sure to use decimal places. Most technical agencies will recommend analysing on the day of the dive, and to re-analyse again if there is any doubt what so ever as to the contents and if they may have been interfered with or altered.

Tech Tip

Trust No One

Get an analyser. Learn how to use it properly. Calibrate it before every use. The only person who should be analysing your cylinders is you. The only analyser you should use is yours.

Label Everything

Clearly label anything that isn't air. If the MOD is less than the maximum possible depth of the dive (think deco cylinders), make sure the MOD stands out where not only you can see it, so can your buddies. Make it obvious to everyone if you are using the wrong cylinder at the wrong depth.

Consider putting a small piece of tape on each second stage, just in front of the mouthpiece, that has the MOD for the cylinder it is attached to. (This is in addition to the standard cylinder markings.) Any little thing that may save your life helps.
