The Cressi Octopus Ellipse Second Stage Regulator comes complete with a long low pressure, yellow coloured regulator hose.

The Cressi Octopus Ellipse uses the same elliptical housing as the Ellipse primary model second stage regulator which is made from hi-tech polymers. The Octopus model has a bright yellow purge cover and hose for easy identification in an out of air emergency.

The Octopus 3/8" threaded hose is 100 cm (39") in length. All the internal components of the Cressi Ellipse Octopus are the same as those found in the standard Ellipse, making periodic service parts the same as the primary regulator. The regulator is lightweight and compact weighing 160 g (5.65 oz) without the regulator hose.

The initial opening effort of the Octopus Ellipse regulator is set slightly higher than the primary Ellipse, once the valve opens the air is channelled by injection to the liquid silicone mouthpiece creating a venturi effect enhancing the performance. On the top of the housing, there is a flow deviator that acts on the venturi effect, with Dive/Pre-Dive Switch to prevent free-flow when the regulator is not in use. All the internal components of the Ellipse are a dependable high-performance downstream demand valve design.

The Cressi Octopus Ellipse is commonly used for upgrading equipment, cold and warm water diving, with Nitrox and more.

The Cressi Octopus Ellipse suits all the Cressi first stages perfectly, and all other first stages with an intermediate pressure between 9 and 10 bar. It comes complete with a yellow coloured 100 cm long rubber regulator hose.
