The Apollo Quick-Attach BCD Trim Weight Pocket is ideal to attain perfect buoyancy and trim via use on your BCD or weight belt webbing, or your tank cam band.
There's nothing sexy about trim pockets. But divers who travel near or far shouldn't do so without a set of these. That's partly because you'll often dive with unfamiliar BCs or swap drysuits and wetsuits and thus you're constantly shifting lead around to get the trim that's easier to dial in on gear you use for every dive.
Not all BCs have trim pockets, and some that do place them too low, or too near the integrated weight pockets, to have much effect on altering trim. These trim pockets attach with a Velcro loop so you don't need to pull the tank band out of the BC to install them. Each zippered pocket will easily hold 2 kg of soft or hard weight, though 1 kg is usually enough to do the job.
The velcro fastening used to attach the Apollo Quick-Attach BCD Trim Weight Pocket lets you quickly attach it on your kit, or take it off and move it to adjust your trim, or move it to another diver's kit.
If you teach diving you can quickly add additional weight to a student. If you often find the need for additional weight on certain dives When you change exposure suits or add layers of neoprene for extra warmth, then quickly add it using this weight pocket. If your trim in the water not exactly as you want it, then this weight pocket can be easily re-positioned to fix the trim issue.
The weight pocket fits 51 mm (2 inch) standard weight belt, BCD waist band, or tank/cam band webbing or can be clipped to your equipment. With a maximum weight limit of 2.0 kg you can disperse your weight and carry it in different trim areas.
Utilise 1 pocket in the centre of your cam band, or if more trim is needed in the top area of your torso purchase 2 pockets and place one either side of your tank cam band.
