Miflex Twin Combo Console - SPG and Depth

MFX-2010TWIN-C
Miflex Hoses
$312.00

Qty:

The Miflex Twin Combo Console combines a Miflex Submersible Pressure Gauge (SPG) with a Miflex Depth Gauge in a compact, sleek and sturdy two in line console with a 75 cm (30 inch) long Miflex Carbon Black HD high pressure hose.

Double consoles are by far the most popular. The depth gauge is a back up in case anything happens to your dive computer and the SPG is bright and bold making it easy to see your remaining air pressurre at a glance. Both are luminescent - so a simple brief shine on them with a dive torch on your night dive will keep them luminated for quite some time.

Miflex Submersible Pressure Gauge (SPG)

An extremely compact cylinder pressure gauge incorporating a safety-pin-type tube and a gear mechanism, which provides outstanding accuracy and durability.

The clear and bright phosphorescent dial face provides excellent readability, also in demanding conditions.

The Miflex submersible pressure gauge is suitable for up to 300 bar cylinders and has a 400 bar maximum value display. The colour coding on the dial is red screened from 0 to 50 bar for reserve air. Numerical pressure increments are 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400 bar with 20 bar increment indicators.

This SPG has a one piece brass body with a Lexan/polycarbonate transparent window. It has standard 7/16" UNF threaded fitting compliant with the ISO 263 standard for connection with demand controls (regulators). The pressure gauge is a Category III device as defined under European Directive 89/686/CEE, and complies with the specifications set out in the European Standard EN 250/2000. This SPG has been tested and CE certified by Registered Test Centre #0426 in Italy.

Miflex Twin SPG and Depth Combo Console Features:

  • Compact and thin, high-quality submersible pressure gauge (SPG)
  • Nickel plated brass single-cast case
  • Durable, Lexan chip-resistant dial with gasket
  • Ready to mount directly to high pressure hose
  • Fluorescent dial with reserve indicator
  • Wide 270º sweep from 0 to 400 bar
  • Bright, white face - easy to read
  • Manufactured by Termoindustria in Italy

Characteristics:
Accuracy: The guaranteed accuracy of the pressure measurement is:
at 50 bar ± 5 bar
at 100 bar ± 10 bar
at 200 bar ± 10 bar
at 300 bar ± 15 bar
Connecting port airflow: <100 litres/min. at a pressure of 100 bar.

SPG Storage

After use, it is recommended to rinse the instrument in fresh water while it is still assembled on the regulator, to prevent water from penetrating inside the hose.

Allow to air dry, and then put the instrument away, taking care to replace the special protection cap on the hose threading. The instrument should be stored in a dry place, protected from heat sources and direct light, without bending the hose too tightly (minimum bend radius 20 cm).

SPG Maintenance

The pressure gauge does not require any special maintenance. It is recommended that the 108 O-ring Vitron gasket, located on the threads of the hose coupling which connects to the pressure reducer, be replaced periodically. Any maintenance or repairs must be performed by authorised personnel.

Miflex Depth Gauge

The Miflex depth gauge features a reliable Bourdon tube mechanism with a gear system, a maximum depth indicator, a zero-in facility for high altitude diving and a phosphorescent dial face. Maximum depth shown is 70 metres. The maximum depth indicator needle will mark your deepest depth reached on a dive. This feature is helpful when logging dive information, providing key information for repetitive dives.

The depth gauge face is colour coded for ease at a glance reading, with red screen from 0 to 6 metres. The gauge face has 3 metre numerical increments of depth from 0 to 6 metres, and then from 10 to 70 metres increments are 10 metres with 1 metre increment indicators full scale. This depth gauge is a one piece brass body with a polycarbonate transparent window and complies with EN 13319.

Technical characteristics:
- Scale 0 to 70 metres
- Maximum depth pointer

Dial plate:
Colour: phosphorescent blue
Diameter: 42 mm
Case materials:
- High impact technopolymers
- Scratch-resistant polycarbonate

Accuracy:
Depth (m) Tolerance (kPa)
3 +8/-4
6 +8/-4
9 ±8
15 +10/-12
30 +10/-12
45 +10/-15
60 +10/-15

Depth Gauge Maintenance:

  • Avoid exposing the instrument to direct sunlight or sources of heat.
  • Never test the instrument in contact with air, always test it in the water.
  • Using the instrument beyond 70 metres may cause irreparable damage.
  • Treat the depth gauge like a precision instrument and avoid bumps or knocks.
  • Rinse in fresh water after every dive.

Console

The ergonomic sleek styling of the Console offers a low and compact profile and an extremely comfortable grip. The Console is made from a durable impact resistant plastic and has two attachment areas at the top integrated into the design for the attachment of clips or a lanyard.

The console SPG is attached to a 75 cm (30 inch) long Miflex Carbon Black HD high pressure hose. The Miflex HP hose has a 7/16-inch Male connector at the end that screws into the first stage regulator HP port.
