Catalina S13 (1.9 litre, 13 cubic ft), 207 bar, Aluminium Cylinder with DIN/K Valve. High grade aluminium constructed especially to meet Australian safety standards. Rugged enough for rental gear or sport diving.
Currently Unavailable: The official Australian supplier of Catalina Cylinders currently has no stock of the S13. We're currently being told they will have more stock in June 2015.
Because of it's highly regarded buoyancy characteristics, the Catalina S13 aluminium cylinder is a popular choice as stage/pony tank(s) by technical divers and as redundant air / bailouts for recreational divers.
We supply a DIN to Yoke convertible, cross-flow valve as standard. The valves are made by Ocean Design. They are strong and reliable being made from really top quality materials. The valve regulator connection incorporates a threaded insert, which means it can equally be used for both INT bracket (Yoke) or DIN connection.
Note: If you require your cylinder unvalved, instead of a convertible DIN/Yoke valve, please specify when you order.
Valve Oxygen Cleaning:
The Catalina aluminium cylinders are supplied Oxygen (O2) clean, suitable for use with up to 100% oxygen. However, if you are planning to use the cylinder with Enriched Air Nitrox (Nitrox) mixes up to 100% oxygen, it's essential for the safety of the cylinder user and the person filling the cylinder that the valve be oxygen cleaned and prepared with special o-rings, seats, and grease designed for exposure to pure oxygen. The cylinder should then be banded with the familiar yellow and green Nitrox band/wrap/sticker, and an Oxygen Clean 'In Test' inspection sticker applied. The Scuba Doctor can do all of this for you as an add-on service.

Colour: Brushed Aluminium or Yellow.
We recommend the brushed aluminium. When you buy the Yellow painted ones, you'll end up having to deal with the paint flaking off and going everywhere, until you remove it.
Out of Stock: We're at the very beginning of the dive season and the Australian supplier is already out of stock of the brushed aluminium cylinders. Go figure! A new shipment is due in mid January 2017.
All scuba tanks for delivery are sold EMPTY due to restrictions in place on the transportation of high pressure cylinders. If you are picking up your order at the dive shop, The Scuba Doctor will be happy to give you a FREE air fill.

All Catalina seamless aluminium alloy compressed gas cylinders imported in to Australia are manufactured in accordance with US Department Of Transport (DOT) 3AL and Transport of Canada (TC) 3ALM requirements.
