The Mares XR Power Plana Tech Fins with Stainless Steel Straps are a tough vented fin design made from high-quality natural rubber in a short but powerful fin. High density material can keep up with any abuse you throw it's way and it's short length is perfect for confined spaces and fine control. They come standard with the Mares Bungee Straps to make them very easy to donn and doff, plus are great value for money. This type of fin is ideal for technical, cave and wreck divers due to their high performance regardless of kick type, but are equally at home on the foot of any recreational diver.

These fins are nearly one kilogram lighter than the equivalent Scubapro Jet Fins and Hollis F1 Fins.

Made of high quality natural rubber these fins are incredibly strong and nearly indestructible. The high density material makes the fins only slightly negatively buoyant — a highly desired feature when using a dry suit and a tech rig with steel plate. This is a welcome benefit for drysuit divers to help prevent the feet from becoming positively buoyant and help to maintain balance and trim.

The Mares Stainless Steel Straps for technical fins is the best solution for both comfort during the dive and donning/doffing. A large heel pad with grip loop makes the fins easy to get on and off.

Unlike competitors' fins, the Mares XR Power Plana Rubber Fin offers a full-shape foot pocket which comfortably accommodates oversize wetsuit and drysuit boots. The foot pockets are large and full length making the fin comfortable to wear and ensures a good power transfer to the blade.

The high performing Mares XR Power Plana Tec Fins are ideal for all kinds of kicks. They deliver better trim positioning with maximum thrust on the down kick and minimal resistance on the up kick. Technical divers will appreciate this fin's manoeuvrability.

This heavy-duty fin has a broad blade that's flanked by substantial side rails. Where the rails are thickest, the blade is stiff, while near the tip, it's flexible. The result is a fin that delivers lots of power and thrust when a diver needs it.
