Send to us, or drop in to the dive shop, the models of Suunto large format dive computer listed below and we can send it to Suunto here in Australia so they can change the battery and pressure test it. This can take 7 to 14 working days depending on their current workload. Then we'll post it back to you, or you can pick it up at the dive shop.

Many of the large format and older model Suunto dive computers don't have user changeable batteries which is why replacement battery kits for them are not available. These models include:

  • Suunto Cobra, Cobra2, Cobra3

We can help you to have the battery replaced on these dive computers using genuine Suunto factory components by Suunto.

Dive computers are constantly monitoring your depth and using their decompression algorithms to calculate your non-decompression dive limits so it's essential that your computer has plenty of battery power to monitor your entire dive trip. The O-rings and lubricants used to seal your dive computer also need to be changed regularly to prevent flooding. This is done by Suunto when the battery is replaced.

We always advise getting your Transmitter Battery changed at the same time as your dive computer, that way you know you are all ready to go for your next dive trip!
