Backscatter FLIP7 Three Filter Kit for GoPro

The Backscatter FLIP7 Three Filter Kit is supplied with three different colour filters that are optimised for different depth ranges: SHALLOW, DIVE and DEEP Filters. The handy flip system allows for easy switching between two mounted filters, offering the best colour correction for the narrow white balancing band of the GoPro range.

Please Note: The GoPro Hero 8 has an all new underwater housing that is not compatible with the Flip 7 filters. Backscatter are currently working on updating the Flip lineup, and the new Flip8 will be compatible with the HERO8, 7, 6, 7, and 5. We anticipate the new Flip 8 release early in 2020.

The Flip Filters FLIP7 packages come with two different spacers and a bracket that allows it to be mounted on all current GoPro models: HERO7, HERO6, HERO5, HERO4, HERO3+, and HERO3, as long as you use either the Standard housing, Dive housing or the Super Suit Housing.

The FLIP7 system is made of robust anodised aluminium, and mounts onto the housing by easy clamp-on attachment. The lenses are incredibly strong so it will be able to withstand the knocks and bumps that dive kit gets.

The Flip Filters FLIP7 system supports two filters at a time, allowing you to quickly switch between filters using a finger to flip the mounted filters up/down, or to the side.

Snap lock a lens or filter with just one finger
The hinged design of the Backscatter FLIP7 offers the ultimate solution for above and below water shooting. Other designs use internal gel filters that require you to break the factory sealed lens and can't be removed from above water shooting. Other press-on filters can be removed, but are easily lost or damaged and frequently require multiple hands to install. Filters on the FLIP7 can be flipped out of the way with just one finger and lock into on/off positions with a positive snap.

Optical Grade Scratch Resistant Material
The Flip Filters FLIP7 filter material is resistant to scratches. It is similar to the optical acrylic used in eyeglasses. Most filter damage occurs during travel to and from the dive site. You'll discover that most accidental scratches will not show up in your videos. Acrylic polish such as Novus can be used to buff out any unsightly scratches.
