Product Description

The Cressi Fisterra Pro is a two-piece, 8 mm unisex, open-cell wetsuit featuring a pair of Farmer John Trousers with leg pocket and a Hooded Jacket for cold water diving made from Ultra Durable Neoprene. The Cressi Fisterra Pro has been developed specifically to meet the unique needs of Australian commercial divers.

The Cressi Fisterra Pro features Powertex® knee pads to provide extra protection and durability. The Liquid Sealed Watertight Seams deliver extra strength and durability. The right leg pocket is great for storing a knife or dive light.

This two-piece wetsuit was born from the needs of professional divers in cold waters.

This wetsuit is really popular with professional abalone divers across the temperate waters of southern Australia. These divers typically replace their winter wetsuits each year, but they're finding the high durability Cressi Fisterra Pro lasts them for more than one season! The suit is also ideal for spearfisherman who want the comfort and warmth of a traditional spearing suit.

Double layer neoprene over the chest and back (i.e. 16 mm), combined with an integrated hood and watertight cuffs keep you warm in the coldest of water. If you're in the water for long periods the open-cell neoprene traps the water against your skin so your body heat can warm it up and keep you warm.

Neoprene consists of millions of tiny air bubbles and when cut these air bubbles are exposed (open) creating tiny suction cups within the material. When worn against the skin the open cell neoprene sticks creating a watertight seal to keep a diver much warmer than a closed-cell (internally lined) wetsuit.

Open-Cell Neoprene Warning: This wetsuit is comprised of open-cell neoprene. Due to the delicate nature of this material, we cannot accept refunds or exchanges for wetsuits that are used or returned with fingernail tears or any other neoprene damage. Please use caution when trying on. All of our wetsuits are thoroughly inspected before shipment/sale to ensure there are no tears or damage.

We appreciate your business and want you to be aware of both the benefits and limitations of your gear. Due to the materials and composition of this suit we have found one drawback to it, which is a susceptibility to tears most commonly occurring when it is being donned and doffed. With gentle handling, this suit can be a valued and lasting piece of equipment. These suits are specifically designed to be donned using a lubricant.

Because it is so easy to cut the open-cell neoprene of spearfishing and freediving suits with fingernails and toenails, you should always have some neoprene contact cement in your save-a-dive kit. Purchase some neoprene contact cement, and always follow the repair instructions exactly. There are no shortcuts.
