Dolphin Tech Backplate Bookscrew Pack, Set of Two

The Dolphin Tech Backplate Bookscrew Pack is typically used to attach the Dolphin Tech Backplate SMB Pouch to a back plate. Each pack includes 2 x 304 stainless steel screws, washers and book style nuts. These book screws are also used for attaching various accessories to a harness, BC, backplate or wing (such as lift bag pouches, suit inflation mounting systems and sidemount buttplates).

Technical divers who use aluminium or stainless steel back-plates have a need for attachment of accessory items. Most backplates have holes on them specifically for this purpose. Book screws are used to anchor the accessory in place to keep them secure and close at hand.

In some situations Book Screws are also used to keep the harness, backplate and wing together and allow it to be handled as a single even when not attached to a cylinder.

Dolphin Tech Bookscrews are non-rusting and allow the diver to attach accessories to their back-plate. They come as a complete pack of eight sets with both Male and Female threaded components, plus washers. Deadbolts are designed to pass through 3/8" (9.5 mm) back-plate holes. Book screws make a great save-a-dive Kit item.
