Very lightweight BCD, excellent for travel or even taking to the local dive site. I found it fits well, is comfortable and sturdy.
The integrated weight pockets are easy to slot in and out and all my dive buddies have noticed this during pre-dive checks. The additional back weight pockets are secure and work well with either lead shot pouches or solid lead weights. (As do the integrated pouches). I found this combined weight system far superior to traditional weight belts.
Another excellent feature is the air release at the front lower part of the BCD. It is situated near the belt buckle so easily accessible. I found this much better than having a rear release valve. The shoulder release is similarly very accessible.
The Travelight BCD has plenty of D-rings for clipping on essentials. The two front pockets are very roomy with strong zips and have large pull tabs which are easy to use underwater even while wearing gloves.
Having two cylinder straps gave me confidence that my cylinder was well secured. Due to the two straps, you may find the first stage higher to the back of your neck than with other BCDs because the cylinder is mounted quite high. I soon got accustomed to this and felt it was a small tradeoff for having the cylinder so snug and well mounted. This is really very minor and does not detract from the BCD, it is just a difference.
Overall I would wholly recommend this BCD to anyone, even if you don't plan on doing a lot of dive travel.
