Re: Bass Strait Warning
G'day,
Success! I've found where the zoom level is set and adjusted it for a better result on the dive site location maps. Sometimes it's the little things that count.
Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Re: Bass Strait Warning
My attention then drifted to the other new feature of "a direct zoom to a google map" image of the dive site. I have some shortcomings about the present implementation of this feature because in some cases the specified "zoom level" is too high and google does not have aerial im...

Re: Mystery GPS Marks
Thanks Packo, After reading through your extensive research I've made your suggested changes, plus added in the details of the other marks for The Pinnacles and Gambier. The problem of lots of GPS marks and not knowing which ones are correct is insidious. I found a research paper by someone at Herit...

G'day,
On all shore dives we now have a "Get directions" link. It takes you to a Google Map with direction for driving to the dive site.

Dive Site Location Maps
G'day, We've added a new feature to our dive site pages. Every page now shows a Google Map centred on the location of the dive site. You can zoom out to see nearby dive sites. You can even go to a full page view. (Previously you could click to view a map, but it wouldn't show the other sites nearby....

G'day,
I've now started to enhanced these "Finding the" information blocks to include the distance and bearing the extra GPS marks are from the GPS marks we're using for the dive site. It really helps to better understand the relationship between the marks.
Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.
