Don't forget Labour Day.

Actually I suspect Neil is confused - I'm not thinking about Queens Birthday yet as it is still several months away.

Labour Day I haven't worked out yet - but it's free for diving if there's a fun trip on.

Easter I have other committments.

For back tanks I prefer steel, and mine are Fabers. Steel lets you take weight out of the weight belt and they don't get "floaty" at the end of a dive. I currently own twin 7 litres, and borrow twin 10.5 litres for the deeper/longer dives. I use a manifold, rather than indepedents, but tha...

Really good dive! Time change to 8am made it a bit more civilised. Bottom time 20mins, run time 55mins. Flat calm sea, good vis, nice wreck with lots of nooks and cranies to explore. Sitting upright on 44-45m bottom, most of the dive around 40-42m. Interesting growth on the wreck, lots of fish. Salp...

Hi Andy,
Will take you up on Euro or Milora next time. Don't want to do deep/deco dive on first one back in the cold water.

Chewy and I are booked on Cathedral Reef with Dive Vic 11am Sat 18th - planning 30 meters/30 minutes bottom. If anyone wants to join us book with Dive Vic.

All sensible people (who aren't totally broke) wear dry suits while diving wrecks in winter! There's very little worse than knowing you've still got 15 minutes hang time and you already can't feel your fingers, nose, toes etc. It's what made me give in last winter anyway :D Hope you all have a great...

Dive Vic with Hev - June 9/10

Thinking of doing either the Ramsden or Sanctum Reef with Dive Vic Sat 12:45 and then J5 and The Abyss Sun 10:30 and 1:30.

Chewy is off doing his deco course so I'm looking for a buddy for any/all of the above.

Anyone up for it??

Very disappointed Michael -- you piked again.

Actually no one but me and Dave booked on so the trip was cancelled. We are now joining one of the wall dives. If anyone wants to come along call Dive Vic and tell them you're diving with me.

Sat 28/4 Boat Dive, Eliza Ramsden, Dive Vic

Michael and I are planning to dive the Ramsden with Dive Vic Sat 28 April 3:30pm. If anyone else wants to come along please book direct with Dive Vic and let me know on here. The Ramsden is a really nice wreck with lots of reef life at an easy depth, but it's also shipping dependant so there's no ga...

I better call Pete and get some tanks organised.

Hi Neil,
I'm not sure how much gear Pete has available for hire right now. I believe he plans to have full kit, but with the plumbers still not moved out there's not much storage space at the moment.

Best bet is to give him a call and ask. But make it tomorrow - today's his day off.

Thanks to All for a fun dive last night. Ages since I did a night dive and the ferry terminal and pier there were great. Nudi's, shrimp, fish, sponges, huge variety of plant life, lots of holes to poke the head/torch into, although I got a bit more cautious after we found the blue ring octopus.
