hi all,
for our inaugural Club Dive Day, I have booked the 08.30 36m Sub and the 12.30 wall dive (Far Side).
If there are sufficient numbers, I will also book slots on the 26m sub immediately afterwards.
We aim to get the 36 sub dive changed to the VHB54 (42msw).
So far:
36 Sub - Neil Richardson and Andy Lowther - 5 SPOTS REMAINING
Far Side - Neil Richardson and Andy Lowther - 8 SPOTS REMAINING
There are another 4 people to be confirmed, so spots will go fast.
Preference will be given to BSAC members. The committee meeting will take place after the wall dive, and the Club meeting at the nominated time (5.30pm if memory serves ?).
At the Club meeting, people will be able to join the BSAC and the Bass Straits club, availing themselves to the benefits (cheaper charter fees, cheap training etc etc).
cheers

The first dive is now the VHB 54, and looks like it will be leaving at 8am.
Please shout out ASAP to myself, as i want to get numbers all sorted by wednesday at the latest.

Dress size: XL - something with a bit of give (jersey cotton) but still fitted (5% lycra)...dark colours work best (I'm a Winter/Summer). Probably best to have a high neck: a hairy-chested bloke in a dress is not for everyone.
Neil - I should be right (Kew) ... I think I'm travelling with Hev and later escorting Hev to Melb Airport to see her off (Bikini Atoll). Thx for the generous offer....

All sensible people (who aren't totally broke) wear dry suits while diving wrecks in winter! There's very little worse than knowing you've still got 15 minutes hang time and you already can't feel your fingers, nose, toes etc. It's what made me give in last winter anyway
Hope you all have a great day diving! Those of us with flights to catch the next morning will do our best not to gloat.
See you all at 5pm for the meeting.

Guaranteed dive-slots close at 10pm TONIGHT. At the moment, there are 3 spots left on the VHB54, and 3 (though 1 person is battling a cold, so this may leave only 2) spots for the wall dive at 1230.
anyone up for it, contact divingofficer@bsac.org.au
