why would we want to go diving with some PADI OW newbie????
especially during the day on a week day???
especially when it is some guy who works nightshifts!

i want to be under the sea, i breath my air by the tank !.
so far 80+ dives and trying to get more every week or two.
lets face it the bay is the best dive site until, now, brumby buggers it up! NO to dredging! no matter which person leads the State.

P and i did Blairgowrie pier on Friday, was a nice relaxing dive and he got a chance to try out his new gear and get comfortable under the water and acclimatise to his gear and surroundings.
50 minute dive for him {54 for me} with a cpl of surface intervals to work out better ways of doing things and placing things on his kit. practised a cpl of bouyancy skills and finning techniques, had a look at nudies mating and a few other fish and sea horses,
not bad on his air consumption on first dive out of doing his course either - 200bar down to 50bar for a 50 min dive! very good effort. {i was 150 down to 50 for the 54 mins if you were interested}
i am more than happy to take P out again and get him comfortable with different places and conditions going into slightly harder dive sites, as he gets better, until he can go night diving on a fast flowing flood or ebb tide with bugga all viz!!
