Dive Site Location Maps

Postby lloyd_borrett » Fri, 02 Apr 2021 4:21 pm

G'day,

We've added a new feature to our dive site pages. Every page now shows a Google Map centred on the location of the dive site. You can zoom out to see nearby dive sites. You can even go to a full page view. (Previously you could click to view a map, but it wouldn't show the other sites nearby.)

See Sims Street Reef for an example, https://www.scubadoctor.com.au/divesite ... treet-Reef. It's a diving and snorkelling site we've just added in Sandringham with the help of David Reinhard.

Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

G'day,

I've adjusted the default zoom level of the location maps from 50m to 100 metres. Less need to zoom out to see nearby sites. Less likely to see the location map with no satellite or aerial imagery.

Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.
