I haven't dived in 2 years since getting married but I have been diving for some years.
My mind works still in psi.. so 250bar is 3000psi
QUESTIONS:
Why did a dive master's eyes bulge when she noticed one of my Din's plugged with a Plug with my mini twin ( Isolated connecting yoke) ? She got all ansy about it.
Always use it that way when not using 2 reg's. What?
Why did she start foaming when i told her only to fill the HP tank( HP DIN) to 3000psi because i wanted to use a LP first stage ? ( yes an adapter is used)
Is there anything wrong with decanting the spare bottle when the primary runs out?
She got worse when i told her i don't open the second cylinder until I get low>> it's how I was taught when i learnt.
Have things changed that much ?
No i dont use a horse collar BC.. the bladder disintegrated years ago.
My semi dry doesnt fit as i grew handles, I need to make a shop visit
... my nose has grown bigger... the mask i was only using 3 years ago crushes the bridge of my nose.
I am still using my 26yo fins > rubber that weigh a ton > what are those nice plastically light things like ?
and the fins - i use split fins and find them nice and comfy and very easy to use, as for the old big rubber things you say about, i couldnt imagine using them!! next time you go diving try your buddy's splits to have a feel of what they are like, dont just go out and buy some without knowing what they are like to use.
