I tell you what nothing more frustrating than BAD BACK. Doc say's FOUR WEEKS (minium)
Two weeks feel ok? cant lay here all my life? WATER will support the gear? weight less RIGHT?? WRONG SO WRONG. OUCH. anouther two & half weeks off feelin okbored but ok. NO GOING MAD thats more like it. WATER i need WATER. Google bay thats water?? Hmm that might be a reef. I NEED WATER. Snorkel no weights, no tank, its only a 780meter swim? Ring dive Buddy? No worries. Out we wade,1st sand bar, 2nd sand bar, 3rd sand bar, don mask, snorkel, insert face in water !!BREATH!!COUGH< COUGH,BLOW CLEAR SNORKEL,!!BREATH!!COUGH< WHAT THE, S##T, purge valve gone from snorkel DAMMM. Place finger accross snorkel when looking outher wise just swim?? I can do that. Well im sad to say it wasnt a reef, just a weed bed. Dive Buddy found it !!FITTER!! than me. Good on ya Dave. Swam to shallows where we explored for pipi's etc, and then that was that. So what have you GUYS/GALS been doing, give me some DIVE theropy !!please!!

you poor bugga!! i feel sorry for you edwin and can understand where you are coming from. back in april or may i did my ankle at work and was off work for 3 weeks and off of diving for 33 days!!!! man i hated it i was dry, my semi dry was bone dry and my gear neede me to use it!!!!
well to tell you what you have been missing, yesterday Tony and i dived blairgowrie pier in the arvo with Adrian and his wife Maureen in the afternoon, fantastic 1 1/2 hour dive (we came out only coz Tony started to get cool - we did go in in in semi drys withOUT hoods and gloves) saw heaps of nudis, and a freaking weird fish some said is a tassled angler fish - i say it is an alien life form!!!!!
then we had a brilliant drift out at Portsea for a night dive of almost an hour - over 2 and a half hours of diving MAGIC!!!!!!
