Went down with the folks at Warrnambools "Dive Inn".
Dive was beautiful. The Southern Ocean/Bass straight was flat, many rocks and swim throughs, lots of fish, masses of vegetation and even a few crays.
We snorkelled out from Stingray Bay between the two islands and said hello to the guard dog based on the island to protect the penquin colony. She's doing an excellent job by the way:) We descended to 6m where I did a skills review. No sweat except I forgot how to breath when I had my mask off underwater

Hopefully I'll be able to afford more diving soon. I'm going to have to get some new kit though as my 10yr old kit is feeling the pinch.
Is anything happening over Christmas such as a BBQ on the beach etc? We will be in Melbourne and I plan on heading down the coast on the 26th. I'd like to get a dive or two in and then catch the ferry to Queenscliff so the kids get a trip on a ship

Cheers
Pete
