Snorkelling Mask Snorkel Fin Set
By purchasing a snorkel set you save both time and money. The mask, snorkel and fins have been paired together to offer you a simple purchasing solution. Almost every mask will work with every snorkel, but with so much choice it can be bewildering as to which to select. By purchasing a snorkel set this simplifies the process. Most masks will fit most faces, snorkels will fit most mouths. Like all things in life, you get what you pay for. The same is true with the best snorkel sets. We don't sell plastic skirted masks that you find in supermarkets, beach shops, or non specialist retailers. These often cause skin irritation and leak water, our equipment offers high performance and comfort.

Nervous snorkelers should purchase a snorkel with both a valve and a wave chamber to ensure they don't get any water in their mouths. A good snorkel can really boost your confidence and in hand your enjoyment in the water.
To select your fin size (don't call them flippers!) then please do so based on your normal shoe size. Most will slip on over bare feet, but you can get those with boots which are ideal if you need to enter the water over rough ground such as rocks.

Depth: 5 m (16 ft) to 15 m (49 ft)
Level: Open Water and beyond.
The Quarry is a boat dive site on the eastern side of Cape Sir William Grant, offshore from the Portland Harbour Trust Quarry, six kilometres south of Portland on Victoria's Discovery Coast. This cape represents the core of a volcanic complex between two collapsed calderas which underlie Nelson and Grant Bays to the west and east respectively.
Diving at The Quarry
This site offers weed covered reef with big ledges and plenty of marine life right next to the Portland aluminium smelter. Road access to the quarry area has now been blocked off, so a shore dive here is no longer an option.

Access is by boat from the Portland Harbour, Lee Breakwater Road North Ramp or the Portland Harbour, Lee Breakwater Road South Ramp.

Abalone Dive Site

Divers have the opportunity to catch Abalone at this dive site. Remember your catch bag, legal abalone tool, current Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence, and abalone measure. Please abide by all current fishing regulations if you intend to catch abalone.

Divers have the opportunity to catch Southern Rock Lobster (aka Crayfish) at this dive site. Remember your catch bag, current Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence, rock lobster measure, and cray tags. Once you get back to the dive boat, or shore, make sure you clip the tail and tag your Crayfish as per Fisheries requirements. Please abide by all current fishing regulations if you intend to catch crays. Gunditjmara country
Traditional Owners — This dive site is in the traditional Country of the Gunditjmara people of far south-western Victoria which continues over the state border into a small part of south-east South Australia and is bordered by the Glenelg River to the west and the Wannon River in the north. This truly ancient Country extends 100 metres out to sea from low tide and also includes Deen Maar (aka Lady Julia Percy Island) where the Gunditjmara believe the spirits of their dead travel to wait to be reborn. We wish to acknowledge the Gunditjmara as Traditional Owners. We pay respect to their Ancestors and their Elders, past, present and emerging.
