The nylon webbing captures the retainers, so the retainers and nylon cam band always stay with the strap when the assembly is removed, yet allowing the retainers and cam band to be repositioned along the length of the cylinder. Using the cam strap, instead of a hose clamp, enables the entire assembly to be quickly installed, removed, repositioned or adjusted without the need for any tools. The ability to easily reposition and adjust the strap, even while you are in-water, is particularly attractive for fine-tuning sidemount configurations.

The Best Divers Harness Stage Strap Kits are based on 25 mm (1 inch) straps made from high tensile strength nylon webbing that resists breakage and splitting, to create a durable and long-lasting foundation for stage rigging. It's also better than round cord because it does not stretch and lies very flat against the side of the cylinder.

A loop to encircle the neck of the valve together with a crown snap attaches the top of the cylinder to your shoulder strap D-ring. The strap then runs through a piece of removable vinyl tubing that acts as an optional carrying handle.

Another snap on the tail of the strap is held in place with a nylon cam strap at the bottom of the cylinder.

The kit includes two DIR stainless steel 98 mm (XL) swivel bolt snaps that are easier to use, particularly with gloves.
