The Cressi Zeus Mask has a particular tapered structure deriving directly from the highly popular Nano-mask patent. The same Integrated Dual Frame Technology System allows the silicone skirt to be joined to the lens frame without major interruptions of the curvature continuity. The result is a mask with an extremely hydrodynamic shape and, visibility being equal, a significantly smaller size.

The field of view obtained is particularly wide, laterally and in the lower zone. Thanks to its matte coating the mask's components all match, enhancing the underwater experience since it prevents reflections in the water that may disturb marine life.
The new micrometric adjustable buckles with a larger button allow a more easily regulation also wearing dive gloves. The new strap is made of two different silicone colours.
Fog Stop System. A subtle silicone membrane around the nose acts as a baffle so that the hot air that leaves the nose when compensating for outside pressure does not go directly to the glass, reducing the usual fogging tendency in small-volume masks. This membrane also has the function of stabilizing the mask on the face, which is firmly secured, independently of possible movements of the face or effect of pressure variations.
Its skirt optimises the empty gaps and reduces the internal volume until only 95 cm3. The lens/face distance has been reduced to the limit that the skirt doesn't make the known suction effect, it simply settles on the face providing the perfect water tightness thanks to its design and its studied relation thickness/silicone rigidity level.

Why Black or Opaque Skirt Diving and Snorkelling Masks Are Better
Clear silicone skirts on diving and snorkelling masks are popular because they minimise the claustrophobic feeling some people get when they wear a mask. Nevertheless, clear skirts actually interfere with vision. Extraneous light entering through the clear skirt makes it more difficult for the eye to focus and causes reflections that obscure vision. Demonstrate this by looking out a window from a lighted room at twilight. You will see better by cupping your hands around your eyes as you press your face to the window. For these reasons, knowledgeable scuba divers, spearos, freedivers, underwater photographers, and snorkellers seeking the best possible vision prefer masks with black or opaque silicone skirts.
