Why You Need a Dry Suit Certification to Dive Dry Before you became a certified diver, you may have wondered, “why do you need a license to go scuba diving?” At some point during your Open Water Diver course®, you likely saw the value of learning how to prevent and manage problems and the benefits of practicing basic skills in a pool. It’s the same for dry suit diving – but the course is considerably shorter, just one or two days.
The Scuba Doctor offers the PADI Dry Suit Diver Course as:
OPTION 1
A bespoke one-on-one course experience, designed for the busy diver short on time; needing more confidence in the water; or if you just want to do the course with your own personal Dive Instructor on the dates of your choice.
Option 2
A two-to-one course, designed for couples/friends wanting to do the course together or fitted to particular date preferences. For those who want to have an instructor almost all to themselves or want a more a more intimate course without the costs of a one-on-one.
This course option will run on a date that suits both divers.
Option 3
A class of 3-4 students, is the most an economical way of doing the Course and enjoying the experience with other divers. Meet other newbie Dry Suit Divers and allow yourself to continue learning after the course with others at your level while making new diver friends.
This course will be on calendar scheduled date.
Although the PADI Dry Suit Course can be conducted with up-to 8 students, this group size is not conducted unless we are approached by a group all wanting to do the training together. We believe unless students have gelled before and are bonded by a current friendship, the course experience with more than 4 students does not permit the instructor to give enough time to individual students needing it to allow well-grounded skills to be learnt in the course duration.
Unlike wetsuits, dry suits are filled with air. This course is designed to teach you how to control the air in your dry suit; your buoyancy; and teach you how to handle common dry suit problems when diving.
